ALABASTER - ACS announces the Family Summer Reading BINGO Challenge! Read for 15-20 minutes every day! Incorporate a mix of parent read-aloud, reading together (share the book), and the student reading aloud to someone special. Mark off your activities on the BINGO board for entries into a prize drawing. Return the bingo board to school on August 12! Additionally, ACS introduces its optional Summer Reading Bingo Challenge! For this optional summer challenge, teachers want to encourage reading of old favorites, exploration of new genres, and extension activities that flex students' creative muscles. The overall goal: to continue learning while igniting a lifelong love of reading.
Plus, the more one reads, the more chances the reader has to win prizes. In addition to completing the Bingo card, you will also need to complete a Google Form to document your participation and completion of the activities.
