ACS - In a continued tradition of gratitude, Alabaster City Schools (ACS) delivered an early holiday gift to employees district-wide on Friday, just ahead of Thanksgiving. Superintendent Dr. Wayne Vickers, accompanied by members of the Board of Education, visited each school to personally distribute extra compensation checks to employees.

Certified employees received $2,000, while classified employees received $1,000, marking another year of the district’s commitment to recognizing the hard work and dedication of its staff.

“We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering commitment our employees show to our students and community,” Superintendent Dr. Wayne Vickers said. “This extra compensation is a great way we can show our appreciation and help make the holiday season brighter.”

Dr. Vickers gives much credit to the generosity and smart budgeting of the ACS Board of Education.

This annual gesture underscores ACS’s dedication to supporting its employees at every level. Photos and videos from the day’s visits highlight the joy and gratitude shared throughout the district.
