2024 Alabama State Report Card: A (plus Alabaster City Schools logo bottom center)

Alabaster City Schools (ACS) has achieved an "A" on the Alabama State Report Card for the fourth consecutive year, highlighting the district's ongoing commitment to academic excellence.

The Alabama State Report Card, issued annually by the Alabama State Department of Education, evaluates school systems across a spectrum of metrics.

Superintendent Dr. Wayne Vickers attributed the achievement to the hard work of students, educators, and staff and the support of parents and the Alabaster community.

"I'm very proud of our students, educators, parents, and community members for this great achievement," Dr. Vickers said. "It's our fourth consecutive year to earn an 'A' system-wide on the state report card, and I'm very proud of all our schools. I look forward to great things moving forward."

The district's sustained performance places it among the top-performing school systems in the state, reinforcing its reputation for educational excellence and commitment to student success.

Alabaster City Schools serves more than 6,000 students across multiple campuses in grades PreK-12.
