ACS - Alabaster City Schools (ACS) made a powerful impact at the National ESEA (Elementary & Secondary Education Act) Conference this week, as Dr. Amanda Wilbanks (Chief Academic Officer), Emily Tetstone (Secondary Math Coach), and Jillian Thomas (K-12 Reading Coach) presented to a packed audience of more than 500.
Joined by the Alabama Department of Education’s Carol Clemmons, the team delivered an insightful session titled "Tier Two is YOU! Support Every Student at Every Grade Level." Their presentation focused on effective strategies to ensure every student receives the targeted support they need to succeed.
The session attracted superintendents, curriculum coordinators, principals, assistant principals, teachers, paraprofessionals, and other education professionals from across the United States. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees praising ACS for its commitment to student success and innovative approach to academic support.
