Dear Warrior Family,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year! We're thrilled to kick off another incredible year of learning–the twelfth for Alabaster City Schools.
Since our inception in 2013, we've made remarkable progress. During the most recent school year, we reached new heights in reading & math, earned an “A” on the Alabama State Report Card, and our graduation rate was an impressive 98%. Niche.com ranked ACS the eighth Best School District in Alabama (out of 139 districts). We will undoubtedly build on this momentum for the upcoming school year!
As we prepare to welcome students on Thursday, August 8, please note that we have updated our Student Code of Conduct, including new rules on dress code and cell phones. Please take a moment to review the Student Code of Conduct on our district website: https://www.acsboe.org.
We are pleased to introduce a new two-way communication platform called “Rooms.” You can access Rooms for your student in the new Alabaster City Schools mobile app, free to download for both iPhone or Android users. Many other aspects of school operation may be new, and specific, to a particular campus. For this reason, we recommend that you carefully review communication sent directly from your child’s school.
Shortly after the school year begins, evenings on our campuses will come alive with so many events! I encourage you to take advantage of these informational, academic, athletic, and extracurricular experiences that make Alabaster City Schools such an incredible school system.
