This Friday, October 25, 2024, will be the FINAL DAY to participate in the ACS Hurricane Disaster Relief Donation Drive.
ACS Hurricane Disaster Relief Donation Drive
In light of the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, Alabaster City Schools is stepping up to support those impacted by this disaster. Starting this week and running to October 21, 2024, we will collect donations to aid families and communities in need.
Your generosity can make a real difference! Our schools will be accepting donations of the following items:
Non-perishable food items
Clothing (new only)
Baby formula (pre-mixed, ready to use)
Bottled water
Hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, etc.)
Cleaning supplies
Baby diapers/wipes
Blankets, gloves, comforters, etc.
Cleaning supplies (disposable gloves, brooms, mops, etc.)
Shop vacs
Carpet shampooers
Tarps
Batteries
Trash bags
Buckets
Coolers
More items will be added to the supply list as identified by partner organizations. Please visit https://www.acsboe.org/hurricanehelene to see the latest list and/or more information.
Drop-off locations will be set up at each ACS campus, as identified by school administration. In the coming weeks, contributions will be delivered to relief organizations working directly with those affected by the storms.
