Thank you for everything you do for us, Officer Douglas!

Creek View Elementary enjoyed hearing from Mrs. Clark and Carolyn on the news this morning! Carolyn ran a 5K recently and finished in 2nd place in the girls division, which included girls age 8-15. We are so proud of her, and we hope this encourages other students to have fun while staying active!

Second graders from Creek View Elementary and Meadow View Elementary Schools filled the Thompson Middle School Auditorium. After finishing 10 weeks in the Hands on Liberty Program, they gathered to celebrate their accomplishments and honor local heroes from the stage.
Students chose heroes who embodied the traits of amazing citizens and read essays from stage before presenting them with Liberty Pins. They learned that “when you honor a hero, you become a hero!”

Due to the very cold weather forecasted for this Thursday, CVES has rescheduled Kona Ice to next Thursday, February 27th.

Honoring Black History Month at Creek View Elementary!
At Creek View Elementary, we are proud to honor and celebrate Black History Month by recognizing the incredible contributions, achievements, and impact of Black leaders, innovators, and trailblazers throughout history.
Throughout February, our students will engage in meaningful activities, lessons, and discussions that highlight the importance of diversity, perseverance, and leadership. From inspiring historical figures to modern-day changemakers, we are excited to learn, grow, and celebrate together!
Join us in recognizing and appreciating Black history—not just this month, but every day.

We are so proud of our students for their dedication during ACCESS testing! Keep up the hard work!

Hi Creek View Warriors!
On Thursday, February 13th, our school will celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day! Please wear a Kindness shirt or a Red shirt on this day. Students will be intentional about showing kindness to others on this special day. Here are a few suggestions on how to discuss examples of kindness with your child.
Examples of kindness: Bring in a canned food item for Manna Charities, be respectful to your teacher, smile at someone, hold the door open for someone, pick up trash, give someone a compliment, include others to play with you, cheer up a friend, only let kind words out, etc.
Thank you!

This semester, our school is participating in a unique fundraising program with Art to Remember that gives you the opportunity to purchase keepsake items with your child's artwork on them. The best part is that every keepsake order supports our school. Order forms should be coming some time this week. Or just head to ArtToRemember.com and search for your child’s name, enter their online order code, or upload artwork from home and start shopping!
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Nichols at brenda.nichols@acsboe.org.
