With summer around the corner, it's time to kick off our new summer reading program. The school year may end, but the learning and the fun never stop in Alabaster City Schools!
For this optional summer challenge, your teachers want to encourage reading of old favorites, exploration of new genres, and extension activities that flex your creative muscles. The overall goal is to continue learning while igniting a lifelong love of reading.
Plus, the more you read, the more chances you have to win prizes! And who doesn't love a prize?
If you complete five Bingo challenges in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), you will receive a prize and have your name entered once into the drawing for a grand prize.
If you complete the whole Bingo board, you will receive a prize AND have your name entered into the grand prize drawing FIVE times!
The drawing for the grand prize will be held during the week of August 19th.
