Parents and guardians, mark your calendars! We are excited to announce two upcoming Parent Academy Nights at Thompson Intermediate School (TIS). These events will take place on Wednesday, September 18 and Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Our September 18th Academy Night will focus on Individualized English Learner Plans (IELPs). During this session, we will discuss the importance of IELPs for our students and obtain parents' signatures on these plans. This is a crucial step to ensure that we are working together to support the success of our English Learner (EL) students.
The November 13th Academy Night will cover several important topics related to your child’s academic future, including:
School curriculums
College admissions processes
Scholarship opportunities
An introduction to the new Champions Craft Academy, an exciting program designed to equip students with hands-on skills and prepare them for career success.
