Thompson Craft Academy is excited to share a fantastic scholarship opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career as a Diesel Technician after graduation. John Deere/TriGreen is offering scholarships to 10 students in the Birmingham area for the 2025-2026 school year, providing significant support to help students enter this growing field.
Scholarship Details
TriGreen, a company known for selling and servicing large agricultural equipment, is extending these scholarships to encourage students to pursue careers in diesel technology. Their product lineup includes not only iconic agricultural machinery but also equipment for home and small properties, such as lawn tractors, zero-turn mowers, Gator utility vehicles, and compact tractors. Additionally, TriGreen’s construction segment is rapidly growing, offering a range of equipment like skid steers, excavators, and wheel loaders.
The scholarships available are as follows:
Full Scholarship: Covers all in-state education costs, including room, meal plans, books, and tuition. Additionally, each scholarship winner receives a toolbox stocked with tools dedicated to them. Upon graduating from one of the two partner schools and completing three consecutive years of work with TriGreen, the toolbox and tools become the student’s property.
Partial Scholarship: Covers all in-state education costs for books and tuition. Like the full scholarship, it includes a toolbox stocked with tools for each recipient. After three years of continuous work with TriGreen post-graduation, the toolbox and tools become the student's.
TriGreen employs over 600 individuals across 28 locations, offering plenty of career advancement opportunities. Each day at TriGreen brings new experiences, making it an exciting and dynamic workplace for aspiring Diesel Technicians.
