This past weekend, Thompson High School Theatre showcased their incredible talent at the Alabama State Theatre Competition, competing against 140 high schools and approximately 2,000 students. The Warriors made their mark, bringing home an impressive 14 superior ratings and 6 excellent ratings!

3rd Place Varsity Costume Construction: Abigail B.
3rd Place Original Works: Liam W. and Mia S.
2nd Place Solo Musical Dramatic (1974–2015): Mia S.
1st Place Solo Musical Comedic (1974–2015): Delicia D.
The highlight of the competition was the Best in Show Group Musical, a prestigious honor awarded to only three performances in the entire state. This outstanding achievement is a huge milestone for the Thompson Theatre program and continues to be the talk of the competition.
