Thompson High School is proud to announce that Israel Gomez has been selected for the prestigious Alabaster Fire Department Internship this semester! Israel received his offer earlier this week, marking a significant milestone in his educational journey and career aspirations.
Joining Israel in this accomplishment is Parker Ray, a dedicated 10th-grade student who also went through the rigorous selection process and has been offered an internship opportunity with the Alabaster Fire Department. Due to his age, Parker will begin his internship during the summer or fall, allowing him to further develop his skills in preparation for this exciting experience.
All students who applied for the internship underwent a comprehensive selection process that included a written exam, a physical test, and a formal interview. Their hard work, determination, and professionalism throughout this process deserve recognition and serve as a testament to their potential for future success.
