As we conclude another successful year at Thompson Intermediate School, I am thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our students. Our WOW Warriors character initiative has fostered an environment of integrity and respect, exemplified by our students' daily actions. Our school-wide Reader Leaders and Mathletes programs highlighted outstanding daily performance in both subjects, contributing to significant growth in reading and math, as evidenced by our increased Aimsweb achievement from fall to spring.
The Kindness Crew has made a profound impact, spreading positivity and compassion throughout our school community. Additionally, our students have excelled in various competitions, bringing home a 1st place win in the Science Olympiad and several 1st place victories in chess tournaments. These accomplishments reflect the hard work and commitment of our students, teachers, and staff. I am incredibly proud of the progress we have made together and look forward to continuing this journey of excellence. As we move into summer with a continued emphasis on student learning with our Literacy and Numeracy Camp, I want to thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to Thompson Intermediate School.
