On January 30th, Thompson Intermediate School hosted Math and Literacy GLOW Night, and the event turned out to be a resounding success. Families and students filled the school, excited to engage in a variety of activities designed to make learning fun and collaborative.
The event saw remarkable attendance, with students and their families coming out in large numbers. It was heartwarming to see parents working side by side with their children on interactive math puzzles, engaging literacy games, and creative activities tailored to both grade levels. The level of involvement and enthusiasm from everyone in attendance was truly inspiring.
Teachers and staff played an integral role in making the evening unforgettable. Weeks of preparation went into designing activities that were not only educational but also enjoyable for all ages. Staff members were stationed throughout the school, providing guidance and encouragement to families as they participated in the activities.
Parents praised the school for organizing such a meaningful event, with many expressing gratitude for the chance to connect with their children’s education in a fun and interactive setting. Students, too, shared their excitement about the activities and enjoyed seeing their teachers hard work!
As the night wrapped up, families left with not only memories of a wonderful evening but also resources and ideas to continue fostering math and literacy skills at home. The event emphasized the importance of teamwork between the school and families in supporting student success.
Thompson Intermediate School is already looking forward to hosting future events that bring the community together. Thanks to the incredible efforts of the teachers and staff, Math and Literacy Night set a high standard for what’s to come.
