Families, mark your calendars! February is packed with exciting events for our students. Below is a quick overview of what’s coming up. More details will be shared as each event approaches!
Progress Reports Go Home – Wednesday, Feb. 5
Students will receive their progress reports, providing an update on their academic performance. Be sure to review them and reach out to teachers if you have any questions.
Kona Ice – Thursday, Feb. 6
A cool treat for students! Kona Ice will be available for purchase, so don’t forget to send money or pre-pay if your child would like to participate.
4-H Parent Meeting – Thursday, Feb. 6 -7 PM
Meeting in the TIS Cafeteria discussing further information for the 4H field trip.
Spring & Class Pictures – Tuesday, Feb. 11
Students will take their spring individual and class pictures. Make sure they come dressed in their best smiles!
5th Grade Course Selection – Wednesday, Feb. 12
Fifth-grade students will begin selecting courses for the next school year. Parents are encouraged to discuss options with their child to help make informed decisions.
5th Grade Liberty Legacy Celebration – Thursday, Feb. 13 @ 1:00 PM
This special event will celebrate leadership, responsibility, and citizenship among our students. Each homeroom will recognize a hero that is a leader in the community!
e-Day – Friday, Feb. 14
Students will complete assignments online as part of an e-learning day. Be sure your child has access to their necessary materials and assignments.
No School – Monday, Feb. 17 (Presidents’ Day)
Enjoy a long weekend as we observe Presidents’ Day! Classes will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
Snack Attack Pre-sales – Feb. 18-21
Students can pre-pay for special snacks during this time period. The options will include pickles, popcorn, water, and Valentine's Day lollipops!
4-H Trips for 4th Grade – Feb. 19-21 & Feb. 24-26
Fourth-grade students will have the opportunity to participate in enriching 4-H trips. These trips will provide hands-on learning experiences focused on agriculture, science, and leadership.
Book Fair – Feb. 24-28
Encourage a love of reading! Students will have the opportunity to browse and purchase books throughout the week. Stay tuned for specific times and special family shopping events.
