MONTGOMERY, AL – Talented young artist Kaia McClain, a student at TMS, has been honored for outstanding artistic achievements in the 2025 State Superintendent’s Visual Art Exhibit. McClain received an Honorable Mention in her category, standing out among students across Alabama in this prestigious competition.
McClain, who studies under art teacher Claire Caldwell, will have her artwork displayed in Montgomery alongside other top entries. The exhibit showcases some of the finest student artwork in the state, highlighting creativity and dedication in the visual arts.
All winners and honorees, including McClain, will be formally recognized at the SSVA Awards Ceremony this March. The event celebrates young artists and their contributions to Alabama’s vibrant artistic community.
