ACS proudly recognized its 2024-2025 Teachers of the Year at this month's Board of Education meeting: Creek View Elementary School: Morgan Quisenberry GRC Teacher; Meadow View Elementary School: Olivia Cushing/3rd Grade; Thompson Intermediate School: Christy O'Dell/4th Grade Reading & ELA; Thompson Middle School: Kim Miranda 8th Grade Math; Thompson High School: Avery Horton Math/Dual Enrollment. Cushing was honored as Elementary Teacher of the Year and Miranda was honored as Secondary Teacher of the Year, elevating both as candidates for Alabama Teacher of the Year.
