We welcomed Shelby County Commissioner Jon Parker (District 3/Chairman) and Shelby County Commissioner Ward Williams (District 4) to Meadow View Elementary School earlier this week! Commissioners presented a check totaling $97,806.00 to Meadow View for its upcoming adaptive playground. The Shelby County Commission joins the ACS Board of Education and BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama in making this new, state-of-the-art adaptive playground a reality! Construction begins later this year.
We are monitoring the forecasted winter weather for this Friday, January 10th, 2025. Should the weather impact school operations, we will communicate that to you.
